What is a Slow Infused Oil?

Slow infusion

Sometimes the best things take time.

Creating these multi-layered products to benefit the skin starts with a slow infusion of pure, carefully choosen botanical material skin-supporting plant oils.

Benefits combined

I created these infused oils to support your skin’s ability to carry out its role as defender of your entire body.

Choose the oil best suited to your needs, and think about when you use it as well. Using them in combination with Premium select oils or Blended Drops can enhance the effects and maximise the benefits.

What is the difference between an oil infusion and an oil dilution?

A glass jar filled with yellow flowers preserved in liquid, surrounded by loose yellow and orange flowers on a wooden surface.

Oil Infusion

Infusing fresh or dried botanical material in an oil base and letting that sit either in the sun or gently heat on a stove until the benefits and aromatic profile of the botanical plant are transferred to the oil base.

Oil Dilution

Adding essential oil, CO2 extract or absolute to a base oil is a great way to create a lighter version of the concentrated product. It's also a safer way to use it directly on the skin lowering any chance of adverse reactions. The scent will vary depending on the ingredients used, but can be used directly on the skin or blended with other oils.
