Marjoram plants

The herb itself can sometimes be confused with other marjoram varieties and even oregano. However the essential oil we are profiling here is Sweet marjoram and the latin name should be checked to ensure it is of the right variety before using.

A wonderful and often underused essential oil that has a great effect on mind and body. It can help relieve muscle pain and cramps (1) while supporting respiratory conditions(2) and lowering stress and anxiety(3). All these properties make it a great essential oil to add to blends that target nervous and anxious minds and aid with sleep issues and insomnia due to racing thoughts and the inability to switch off at night.

Aromatically it is herbal with a nice floral undertone which makes it easy to blend with a variety of different scent profiles and brings out different notes in each.
